Mission

Invictus Records is a 100% woman‑owned, equity‑sharing record label devoted to cultivating diverse artists and building a fairer music economy. We sign, develop, and release artists through transparent contracts, shared ownership, and values‑driven operations so creators keep meaningful control of their work and participate in the long‑term value they help create.

Vision

A music industry where women and underrepresented creators aren’t exceptions—they are owners, producers, and decision‑makers. Invictus will be a replicable model for equitable deals, ethical A&R, and community‑first growth that others can adopt at scale.

Why Now

Ownership and transparency are still rare for emerging artists.

Women and nonbinary producers, engineers, and executives remain drastically underrepresented.

Audiences reward authenticity and social impact; fans want to fund what they believe in.

Technology allows lean, data‑informed labels to serve artists better—and faster.

Core Values

Ownership & Equity: Artists are creative partners, not line items.

Transparency: Plain‑language contracts, open dashboards, on‑time payments.

Inclusion: Women, nonbinary, LGBTQ+, and artists of color centered across rosters and leadership.

Craft: High‑quality production, storytelling, and development.

Dignity: No predatory terms. No hidden fees. No retaliation.

Sustainability: Sound finances, ethical growth, and community reciprocity.

Operating Principles

Artist‑First Deals: Shorter terms, reversion triggers, fair recoupment, and clear splits.

Share the Upside: An Artist Equity Pool lets creators participate in catalog value over time.

Plain‑Language Everything: Contracts, statements, and dashboards designed for understanding.

Mentorship & Pathways: Producer fellowships, songwriting camps, and business literacy.

Lean, Digital‑Native Ops: Data‑informed marketing, agile release planning, and fan community building.

Pay People Promptly: SLA for payouts and vendor payments; quarterly reporting by default.
